of nation or continent to our suppliers. Gas has become the main source of heat and light for many
countries in the world. The Russian gas industry has a significant effect on the maintenance
of the energy balance in Europe. Joint Stock Company sibneftgaz-prom and its refinery face
fundamental challenges and far-reaching prospects.
The Company has the largest current reserves of natural gas.sibneftgaz prom possesses 60%
of explored gas reserves in Russia, and 52% of reservoirs under development in the
Northern part of the Tyumen Region. Total initial reserves of hydrocarbon raw material
made more than 10 trln. Cubic meters of gas, 240 billion tons of gas condensate and 370
billion tons of oil.
Capital investments of sibneft grow every year. In 2006 they are expected to
make a record amount around 80 billion rubles.
sibneftgaz owns independent licenses for the development of three largest fields:
At present sibneftgaz consists of ten departments ensuring hydrocarbon production.
They are gas production and oil and gas production departments. Gas treatment is carried
out at 15 gas processing facilities and gathering stations. At the Yamburg field fifteen
workshops of booster compressor stations of the first and second stages are in operation.
sibneftgaz has around 9000 gas and gas condensate wells. The total length of operated
gas flow-lines and gathering mains is more than 9000 kilometers. Auxiliary business units
secure stable company activity. They service over 500 km of hard-surface motor roads, 284
housing and community facilities in the shift settlements, 705 m 2 of serviced housing stock.
sibneftgaz faces the task of reforming the company with a view to increase its efficiency,
improvement of corporate management. The major objective of the reform is to increase
efficiency and quality management of the whole system of sibneft group by means of
consolidating its basic activities. The separation of non-core business units enables to
concentrate on core business gas and gas condensate production, enhance efficiency and
transparency of the company activity. We are producers of our oil products directly with the aim
to connect our serious buyers to our real and genuine sellers for the oil and gas trading and exportations.
